Stop Ranking Players!!! Evaluate players based on their all around game!! Thousands of players don't work on their game and they are being Ranked!! You should only be considered as a Good Player if every part of your game is Perfect!! Players are believing that they are Good even though they don't have a Complete Game!! Players are really overrated! Lebron James said; The NBA is Watered Down!!

I'm the #1 Fundamental & Percentage Shooting Coach in the Country!! It isn't just New York City, it's throughout the Country!! Nobody knows how to teach Shooting or Real Fundamentals!! Everybody teaches the same thing and the same way!! The game of basketball is at its lowest point ever at every level including the NBA!!! Royal Ivey(NBA Player said: Nobody is doing any teaching and even the guys that want to teach, unfortunately they don't know that much!! When you are at the age they are  and all you are doing is playing games, you're  just reinforcing whatever bad mistakes they've picked up!! In our program we had 55 NBA Players and 255 Division 1 Players(Co-ed)!!

The rankings are made for recruiters and evaluators, coaches and scouts. So they can have a idea sometimes not an accurate one of playing levels. It helps us separate who is a high major and who is a D2, D3 athlete. The issue is that these kids run with the hype and lose hunger to get better. Want things to change nyc has to start having better teaching of the game of basketball

we rank players to have debates. Its not that serious.if players dont work on their game thats their problem. There were guys that didnt work on their game in the 60's,70's,and 80's,and 90's also so this is not a phenomenon. We live in a different age of technology and society so people will have to adjust and adapt. The game isnt what it used to be and never will.Same goes for ball in NYC,so if you enjoy the game, just take when you can out of it and enjoy this quality of play because you will never see 3 mcdonalds all americans at the same time coming from nyc again, like you saw many times before in the past.

Did you see how many European Players was in the last NBA Draft? They turn Pro at 14 overseas!! Our kids can't compete with that!! We don't have enough people in this country to teach at that age or younger!! In this country there are very few coaches who can teach shooting the basketball for a High Percentage!!!

Europeans work hard, they are athletic enough to compete especially in France, Italy, Spain, and in South America. As well as the fact they are good students and in many of those countries the teach English in the schools
Comment by Lonnie Grant on September 30, 2013 at 12:57pm

yes Mike, you exactly correct. Those EUROPEAN players WORK EXTREMELY HARD and it definitely makes it harder for our kids in the city and abroad to compete against that when they are NOT WORKING HARD ENOUGH on their skill set. The European's are coming and that's a fact!!!!.

Comment by Mike Senior on September 30, 2013 at 10:46am

Why? Coaches and Organizations are making money and the players don't want to work hard on their game!! Also players just want to play ball!!!! They know somebody has to be picked to play at the High School and College level!! The players just hope it will be them? Watch out for European Student-Athletes and Professional Players!!!!!!!!!!! Our kids in this Country are in trouble when it comes to Basketball!!!

I agree with you, kids are running around playing in a bunch of games but nobody is really teaching...
